ICC Twenty20

Twenty20 cricket originally introduced in the United Kingdom for professional inter-county competition by the England and Wales Cricket Board(ECB), in 2003. Twenty cricket is also known as T20 cricket.
The first T20 World Cup was played in South Africa in 2007 with India defeating Pakistan in the final by 5 runs. Pakistan again featured in the final of the 2009 World Twenty20, this time against Sri Lanka, winning by eight wickets.
The first men's full international T20 match was played in 2005 between Australia and NewZeland in which Australia defeated NewZealand and the match was played in Eden Park in Auckland. This game was played in a light-hearted manner both teams wore kits similar to that worn in 1980's. The Kiwis wore kit exactly the same as of Beige Brigade. Some players pasted moustaches/beards and make heair styles popular in 1980;s taking part in a competition amongst themselves for best retro look, at the request of Biege Brigade. Aus won the game completely, and as the result became obvious towards the end of NZ innings, the players and umpires took things less seriously - Glenn MacGrath jokingly replayed the Trevor Chappell under arm incident from a 1981 ODI between two sides and Billy Bowden showed him a red card(red cards are not used in cricket).

In 9 January 2006 the first T20 international game was played in Australia between Aus and South Africa in which Aus won. In this match each player's nickname appeared on the back of his uniform, rather then his sur name. this match drew a crowd of 38,894 people in The Gabba.

Since the 20 overed fashion game had been introduced two T20 International World Cups has been played. First Worldcup was staged in South Africa in 2007. The tournament was won by India after defeating Pakistan by 5 runs . The second event, the 2009 ICC Wold T20 took place in England. This tournament was won by the previous runner-ups Pakistan who defeated SriLanka by 8 Wickets in the Lord's Stadium.

The third ICC World T20 has been arranged in West Indies which after a strong competition has won by England who defeated Australia by 7 wickets (with 3 overs remaining).
England won the first major ICC tournament in the History. England team reached three times (1975, 1987, 1992) World Cup Final and one time in ICC Champions Trophy (2004) but they never win ICC series.
